Big Light Amnesty

These are the terms for the SHAN Big Light Amnesty, a free prize promotion. By entering, you agree to them.

1.Promoter. SHAN, a trading name of Pumpernickel HoldCo Ltd, company number 16976437, Flat 140, 4 Dukes Road, London E17 3SE.

2.Who can enter. UK residents aged 18 or over. Our staff and their families can't enter.

3.Free entry. It's free to enter and no purchase is needed.

4.How to enter. Comment on the SHAN Big Light Amnesty post on Reddit or Instagram, telling us about your worst ceiling light, between 00:01 on Monday 26 October 2026 and 23:59 on Sunday 1 November 2026, UK time. One entry per person.

5.How we choose. The SHAN team picks the story we judge funniest or most relatable. This is a judged contest, not a random draw.

6.The winner. We announce the winner on Monday 2 November 2026 and contact them by direct message. If they don't reply within 7 days, we pick another winner.

7.The prize. One SHAN lamp in Ember, RRP £149. There's no cash alternative. We may swap in a prize of equal value if we need to.

8.Your entry. It must be your own story and not offensive. We may share winning stories with the entrant's username.

9.Not Reddit or Instagram. This promotion isn't sponsored, endorsed or administered by Reddit or Instagram.

10.Your information. We use entrants' details only to run the promotion, as set out in our Privacy notice at shanlamp.com/privacy.

11.Law. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
