This notice explains what personal information SHAN collects, why, and what you can do about it.

Who we are. Pumpernickel HoldCo Ltd, trading as SHAN ("SHAN", "we"), is the controller of your personal information. Contact: info@shanlamp.com, Flat 140, 4 Dukes Road, London E17 3SE.

What we collect.

• When you buy: your name, email, phone number, delivery and billing address, what you bought and how much you paid. Card details go straight to our payment provider; we never see them.
• When you join our list or a waitlist: your email address and, for a waitlist, the stone you're waiting for.
• When you contact us: whatever you tell us.
• When you browse, only if you accept analytics: which pages you visit, roughly where from, and what device, linked to a random ID stored in your browser. Never your name.

Why we use it, and the legal basis.

• To take, deliver and support your order (to perform our contract with you).
• To keep tax and accounting records (because the law requires it).
• To send you our emails and waitlist alerts (with your consent; unsubscribe any time).
• To see what's working on the site (with your consent, through the cookie banner).
• To prevent fraud and keep the shop secure (our legitimate interest in running a safe business).

Who we share it with. Only the companies that help us run SHAN: Shopify (our shop, checkout and payments), Klaviyo (our emails), PostHog, EU hosted (site analytics, only if you accept), Lovable (website hosting), our delivery couriers, and our accountants and legal advisers when needed. We never sell your information.

International transfers. Some of these companies process data in the United States. Where they do, the transfer is covered by UK adequacy regulations or the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or Addendum.

How long we keep it. Order records for 6 years, for tax. Email subscribers until you unsubscribe. Waitlist entries until the stone is back, then 12 months. The analytics ID until you clear your browser storage or withdraw consent.

Your rights. You can ask for a copy of your information, ask us to correct or delete it, object to or restrict how we use it, ask us to move it to someone else, and withdraw consent at any time. Email info@shanlamp.com. We'll reply within a month.

Complaints. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, please tell us first. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.

Children. SHAN isn't aimed at anyone under 18 and we don't knowingly collect their information.

Changes. We'll update this notice when anything changes and show the date below.
